ORIFLAME'S "THE ONE" ILLUSKIN FOUNDATION - Review & Swatches

It's just a day  to Diwali and I am feeling super excited. Diwali is a festival of lights, happiness, sharing and reunions.  It’s a time when every one of us takes out time to spend it with our near and dear ones. It’s time for friends and family reunions. Like Christmas, in India We have Diwali. There is so much to do these days. Everything is keeping me busy....be it shopping for gifts for friends and family or going to Diwali parties. So this weekend I went to such a Diwali party and  did my face with THE ONE illuskin foundation which I am going to review today here on the blog. So here what I have to say about it.

MY TAKE ON THE PRODUCT:

The Packaging
Let me talk about the product's packaging first of all. The product comes in a dark purple colored outer cover. Inside is a glass bottle of foundation which is basically a pump bottle with twist lock mechanism. The pump again is purple in color and there is a transparent cap at the top.

I really liked the foundation's pump mechanism with a lock. So when you have to use it, just remove the transparent cap, twist it and pump it and there you go with product. You get a right amount of product in just one pump. It's a great method of getting the product as every single drop is clean and hygienic.

The Product
The foundation inside the bottle has a wonderful fragrance. Is doesn't smell like paint like most of the foundations do. The fragrance is light and not overpowering so I think everyone will be comfortable with that, even the one's with the sensitive nose.
The product spreads evenly out throughout your face. Just a small amount is fine to cover your entire face.

The product absorbs very quickly into the skin. I prefer using hands as the warmth of hands makes the absorption process quick, but it works great with both brush and hands, anything as per your choice. The product feels very light on the skin and gives a very natural look. You don’t look like a plastic doll.

My skin didn't feel chalky nor did I spot any white patches. It evens out the skin complexion. The foundation works great for dry to normal skin. I have a dry skin as you guys already know that. the ones with extra dry skin may use moisturizer with it. The one foundation gives a matte finish at the last...doesn't make your face oily. My skin felt smooth and soft after using it.

It hides your imperfections. I would rate its coverage capacity to be of intermediate level. It has a SPF 20 and that’s again is a plus point guys.

"The one" illuskin foundation comes in four shades that are shown in the picture below. So Oriflame offers a foundation for every skin tone.
